MELAKA: The production of the GWM Haval H6 Hybrid at the EP Manufacturing Berhad (EPMB) facility in Melaka has hit a 1,000th unit milestone.
"This achievement reflects our deliberate approach to prioritising quality over sheer production numbers,” said GWM Malaysia managing director Cui Anqi.
“By adhering to global benchmarks, we ensure every unit of the Haval H6 Hybrid embodies excellence and reliability for our customers."
The Haval H6 Hybrid is powered by a 1.5-litre turbo hybrid engine producing 243ps and 530Nm of torque, mated to a Dedicated Hybrid Transmission (DHT).
The 0 to 100km/h sprint is done in 7.7 seconds, and the C-segment SUV offers a best-in-class wheelbase of 2,738mm.
Fuel efficiency is rated at 5.8 litres per 100km and it can travel up to 1,000km on one full tank.
The Haval H6 Hybrid is priced at RM139,800 and there are five colour options - Energy Green, Ayers Silver, Crayon Grey, Hamilton White, and Sun Black.
The warranty package includes 10-year or 1,000,000km (engine) whichever comes first; 8-year or 1,000,000km (Hybrid system) whichever comes first; and 7-year or 200,000km (full vehicle) whichever comes first.
