By RIZAL JOHAN | 08 October 2020
PETALING JAYA: The GMC Hummer EV truck and SUV is a couple weeks away from the reveal but Epic Games, creators of Unreal Engine says it's behind the Hummer's infotainment system.
Unreal Engine is known among avid video gamers for the last 20 years.
It powered such games as Unreal and Unreal Tournament, and more recent versions, Fortnite and Psyonix's Rocket League.
This however marks the first time the system is being used for the GMC Hummer as a production car's infotainment system.
Epic released a trailer showcasing Unreal's 3D rendering and menu developing tools but not a clue as to what the infotainment system will look like.
Have to wait and see for the reveal on Oct 20, 2020.
