The pattern design and latest compound technologies deliver a 5% improvement in wet and dry braking and handling, as well as a 14% increase in aquaplaning resistance compared with the previous model.

The tyre also promises around 10% more mileage in normal driving conditions.

Designed using AdvanZtech - Giti Tire’s globally-integrated, company-wide R&D system - the GitiSport S2 features a brand new compound that offers extremely high levels of grip, which has resulted in an impressive A rating for wet performance in EU label results.

Its strong rolling resistance is measured from B-E, and it is aimed at compact and intermediate size cars and sports utility vehicles with a sport orientation – such as the Mercedes C-Class, Cupra Leon, Audi TT, and Audi Q5.

The tyre launches initially in 14 sizes with rims from 16 to 20 inches, section widths from 205-275, series sizes from 35-45, and with speed indices across W-Y.

The tyre also promises drivers with safety without worry, energy efficiency, and precise control.
