MELAKA: WTC Automotif (M) Sdn Bhd (WTCA) has set up a Melaka dealership.
The GAC Melaka 3S centre is operated by Waritan Automobile Sdn Bhd, and it will house both the GAC Motor and AION brands under one roof.
“The opening of the GAC and AION Melaka 3S center is key to complete the coverage of the network in the southern region. Customers are encouraged to test drive to experience the superiority of the product.” said Warisan TC Holdings CEO Tan Keng Meng.
GAC Motor Melaka has a showroom space of 443 sq m and service reception with four workshop bays of 335 sq m.
The showroom operates seven days a week (Mondays – Fridays: 9am – 7pm, Saturdays: 9am – 6pm, Sundays and public holidays: 9am – 5pm), whereas the service centre operates from 8:30am – 5pm from Mondays – Saturdays and are closed on Sundays and public holidays.
The showroom includes a spacious customer lounge where customers are able to wait onsite in comfort and workstations with WiFi access for those who are looking to work while their vehicles are being serviced.
Additionally, customers can enjoy a range of food and beverage options from the refreshment counter.
To mark the success of its first GAC CKD project, WTCA has launched the Rev Up with Emzoom campaign that will lasts until Dec 31.
With Rev Up Deals offering cash rebates worth RM5,000 and RM7,000 for the Exclusive and Premium R variants respectively, customers can enjoy promotional prices starting from only RM111,800 for the GS3 Emzoom Exclusive and RM119,800 for the GS3 Emzoom Premium R.
WTCA also offers the option of value for money bundling of Complimentary Maintenance Service and Smart Watch Key worth RM1,388 in lieu of lower cash rebates.
The GAC GS3 Emzoom model line-up offers a competitive range of features across the board, with all three variants powered by GAC’s 1.5-litre four-cylinder turbocharged engine that develops a maximum of 177PS at 5,500rpm and best-in-class 270Nm of torque, available from 1,400rpm to 4,500rpm.
This output is delivered to the front wheels via a seven-speed wet dual-clutch transmission (7WDCT), enabling a swift 0-100km/h acceleration time of 8.0 seconds.
The performance is matched by fuel economy that meets Energy Efficient Vehicle (EEV) standards with an average consumption of only 5.9 litres per 100km.
All GAC GS3 Emzoom models feature the same bold exterior defined by the Mecha Wing grille, Laser Eye Split LED headlights and electric hidden door handles that lend a futuristic and
aerodynamic aesthetic to the side profile.
The dynamic front end is matched in the rear by Light Dart tail lights and a sporty Rear Spoiler while 18-inch alloy wheels complete the look across all three variants.
Visually, the GS3 Premium R differentiates itself from the Standard and Exclusive variants with its R-Style Sport Package and R-Style Exhaust.

In terms of colour availability, the GAC GS3 Emzoom Standard is offered in Frost White and Asphalt Black options.
The GAC GS3 Emzoom Exclusive offers two additional choices, namely Salt Lake Blue and Superstar Silver.
All of these colours are available for the GS3 Emzoom Premium R, which features an exclusive Graphite Grey colour, in addition to the sporty orange exterior trim which is limited to this range-topping variant.
Asphalt Black and Graphite Grey are exclusive to the locally-assembled GAC GS3 Emzoom — these colours are currently not offered anywhere else outside the Malaysian market.
All variants in the updated 2024 GAC GS3 Emzoom line-up offer maximum peace of mind with a five-year, 150,000-km warranty.
Additionally, the first 2,000 customers can enjoy the extra protection of a seven-year, 180,000-km engine and transmission warranty.
