PETALING JAYA: Ducati Malaysia has expanded the Scrambler range with the introduction of a new Icon Dark variant to the lineup.
The launch took place in conjunction with the introduction of the Panigale V2, V4 and V4 S and out of the initial batch of eight units, four have already been snapped up.
Priced at RM49,900, the Scrambler Icon Dark is available to order at any authorised dealership - Ducati Petaling Jaya, Ducati Sungai Buloh and Ducati Penang.
Power for the Scrambler Icon Dark comes from an air-cooled 803cc Desmodromic L-Twin engine producing 73hp at 8,250rpm and 67Nm of torque at 5,750rpm.
Torque is managed by a six-speed manual gearbox that has a hydraulic clutch control with an adjustable lever and ergonomic switchgear.
The Scrambler Icon Dark features a newly designed LED headlight with LED daytime running light and a new flat seat as well as a dual-channel Bosch cornering ABS as standard for added safety.
The rider also has access to a fuel gauge and a gear indicator and the Ducati Multimedia System (DMS).
The DMS allows riders to integrate the bike with a smartphone, helmet earpiece, passenger’s helmet earpiece or a Ducati navigator system via Bluetooth.
The infotainment system also allows up to four devices to be connected simultaneously.
Lastly, the Scrambler Icon Dark is painted in a new Matt Black body colour scheme complete with machine-finished aluminium belt covers and interchangeable aluminium side panels as well as other personalisation options.
