DFSK EC35 all-electric van introduced from RM130,000


CYBERJAYA: QC Fleet Management has launched the DFSK EC35 all-electric van for the Malaysian market priced at RM130,000, excluding registration and insurance.

The EC35 also is available for leasing with options ranging from three to five years.

Available in both two and five seater configurations, the van offers a rear access height of 1,270mm with a rear door access width of 1,440mm.

The van comes with a 38.7kWh lithium-ion battery that promises a range of 268km under WLTP or 200km in city driving, can be charged up through a CCS connector.

A 40kW DC rapid charger can power up the battery from 20% to 80% in 35 minutes, while 6KW AC fast charger can top up the battery to 100% in six to seven hours.

Features include tyre pressure monitoring system, pedestrian warning system, triple reverse sensors, a reverse camera linked to the built-in display and automatic headlights.

The EC35's payload of 1,090kg is comparable to the traditional petrol or diesel van but with zero carbon emissions.

The van also promises higher cost efficiency with an estimated annual saving of 33% in servicing and in excess of 78% in daily fuel costs.

The powertrain comes with a five-year/120,000km warranty.

QC Fleet Management managing director Lim Khoon Yee said the company's electric vehicles offered practical sustainable solutions for companies involved in the last-mile deliveries, light and service industries, and SMEs.

“Many companies are looking for sustainable solutions to meet their transportation requirements. Contrary to popular opinion, going green doesn’t have to be expensive.

“The EC35 provides companies a way to reduce their carbon footprint and operational cost at the same time,” said Lim.
