Covid-19: Honda Malaysia dealerships, sales offices, factory closed until end of March
By CARSIFU | 17 March 2020PETALING JAYA: Honda Malaysia Sdn Bhd today announced that its operations would be suspended for 14 days as part of its move to stem the Covid-19 infections in the country.
It said it would shut down its Malacca plant, sales offices and dealerships nationwide from March 18-31, the same period as the "movement control order" imposed by the Government last night.
It expects to resume business operations from April 1 but that will also depend on the Covid-19 outlook at the end of this month.
Honda Malaysia said it would continue to monitor the Covid-19 situation closely and update accordingly.
The new Honda BR-V media preview this week was put off as a result of the government directive.
