KUALA LUMPUR: Chery Malaysia has opened its first and largest flagship 4S dealership in the east coast.
Operated by Evenergy Auto Sdn Bhd, the largest flagship dealership in Kuantan offers sales, service, and body and paint facilities.
It is expected to cater to about 5 million people in Pahang, Terengganu and Kelantan.
The Omoda E5 electric SUV was previewed at the dealership in conjunction with its opening.
Mentri Besar Datuk Seri Wan Rosdy Wan Ismail, who opened the dealership, said the Kuantan Municipal Council aims to install 160 charging stations by 2025, thus accelerating the adoption of electric vehicles among the people in the state.
Among those present at the opening on Sunday were Chery Malaysia executive vice president Leo Chen and Evenergy Auto director Lee Chean Seng.
