Chery Malaysia supports AISSE 2025


KUALA LUMPUR: Chery Malaysia will support the Asia International Security Summit & Expo (AISSE) 2025 as its official VIP vehicle partner.

The fleet of 60 SUVs, comprising of Chery’s Omoda 5, Tiggo 7 Pro and Tiggo 8 Pro will ferry guests and delegates from 15 countries to the Putrajaya International Convention Centre (PICC) during the three-day event, held from Jan 20 – 22, 2025.

During a handover ceremony, Chery Malaysia's vice presidents Michael Chew and Cheng Nam Weng handed over the vehicles to Alpine Group Services group managing director Anita Jacobson and business advisor Marina Yahya.

Alpine Group Services is the event’s organiser.

The event was witnessed by Royal Malaysia Police (PDRM) deputy director of logistics and technology department, Bukit Aman Deputy Commissioner Police (DCP) Gilberd Philip Layang and Senior Assistant Commissioner (SAC) Zakaria Ismail.

AISSE 2025 will feature the ASEAN+ Security High Roundtable, co-organised by ASEANAPOL, bringing together Ministers of Home Affairs from participating countries and their respective police chiefs to discuss strategic and cross-border security issues.

With the theme ‘Asia United: Charting the Future of Global Peace and Security Through Law Enforcement Collaboration’, AISSE 2025 will bring together 200 security organisations and
industry stakeholders from countries including Malaysia, Canada, Hong Kong, Latvia, Singapore, South Korea, United States, Taiwan and Türkiye.

Some 5,000 trade visitors are expected to attend the event, with 36 forums and conference sessions scheduled.

and driver,” said Chew.
