KUALA LUMPUR: The CarSifu Auto Show 2022 has kicked off at Mid Valley Megamall here with participating brands offering much savings and goodies to buyers.
The show, which sees a display of 20 latest car models from Volvo, Toyota, Subaru, Proton, Honda, Perodua and Nissan, runs until Sunday and is open from 10am to 10pm daily.
The models displayed consisted of sedans, hatchbacks, sports utility vehicles and multi-purpose vehicles.
TC Subaru is providing savings of RM8,000 and three years of free maintenance for buyers of its XV sports utility vehicle while those who bought the Forester will get savings up to RM15,000.
Nissan is offering free ICE Cool Tinting and leatherette seats worth RM5,600 if the customer tops up the purchase of the Serena 2.0L S-Hybrid Highway Star with RM1,000.
Those who book plug-in hybrids from Volvo will get their vehicles upgraded with next year's model specifications such as extra accessories and a more powerful hybrid powertrain system.
Buyers of Honda's City sedan will get RM3,000 off while those who purchase the City Hatchback will save RM1,500, Accord (RM6,000), CR-V (RM1,000) and BR-V (RM4,000).
For Toyota customers, the Vios and Yaris will be offered with savings of RM1,500 and an aerokit accessories package worth RM2,500.
Visitors to Toyota's display who filled up an online contact form will get an eco bag, a cap and a lanyard, while those who filled up a similar form at Honda's booth will get a plastic food container.
Meanwhile, Perodua and Proton are giving away a fan and a foldable sunshade respectively to buyers who signed up for their cars.
On top of it, buyers who booked a vehicle are also entitled to a RM50 voucher to buy products from local anti-bacterial car mat maker Trapo. Trapo, which is also participating in the auto show, is offering a 12% discount on its car mats and 20% off its Oxtra accessories such as car air purifier, portable vacuum cleaner, car charger and magnetic smartphone holder.
In addition, Trapo is also holding a Time Attack Challenge racing simulator where participants who post the fastest time will stand a chance to win prizes.
After the auto show in Mid Valley Mega Mall concludes, the next show will be held at The Mall, Mid Valley Southkey, Johor Baru from Oct 26-30.
