CaltexGO now available at participating Caltex stations nationwide

KUALAL LUMPUR: Chevron Malaysia Ltd, which markets the Caltex retail brand in Malaysia, has made its CaltexGO app available nationwide.

Like Petronas' Setel app, CaltexGO is a mobile app that allows customers to pay for their fuel transactions without physically visiting the counter.

The nationwide launch marks the next step in Chevron’s effort to engage with customers through new and innovative ways.

Chevron Malaysia country chairman Jay Gomez said the company has been keeping busy by developing and launching new products and promotions in an effort to innovate for the future, providing additional connectivity and mobility options for customers.

“In September 2021, we piloted CaltexGO in the Klang Valley, and we are now ready to roll out the app nationwide. With CaltexGO, motorists in Malaysia will enjoy additional benefits to refuel with speed and convenience,” he said at a post-Hari Raya open house at the company's newly launched station in Putrajaya.

Chevron International Fuels & Lubricants (Asia Pacific Sales) vice-president Toh Yu Lee said the company's downstream approach is centred around being closer to the customer.

“It is achieved through our station network across the country and retail innovations that allow easy access to our products and offerings. Digitalization is at the forefront of our approach to find new and inventive ways to reach our consumers with the ever-changing customer connection trends.

“CaltexGO is a tool for us to do just that, and its nationwide accessibility will now make it more convenient for more consumers to use the app,” Toh said.

In conjunction with the nationwide launch, customers can enjoy a RM5 cashback when fuelling a minimum of RM30 with CaltexGO.
