KUALA LUMPUR: BYD has expanded its reach in Malaysia with the opening of new showrooms in Kuching and Alor Setar.
The Kuching mall-concept showroom was launched together by Sime Darby Motors and local dealer Regas EV Auto Sdn Bhd.

Located on the ground floor of City One Megamall, the outlet offers shoppers a unique experience and caters to their needs through an immersive retail display.
The 3,000 sq ft showroom operates as a 1S centre and displays the company's latest models in Malaysia such as the Atto 3 and Dolphin electric vehicles (EVs).
BYD Alor Setar.
To support customers with aftersales service and maintenance, the BYD Kuching service centre comes equipped with two service bays and is conveniently located across the street along Jalan Tun Jugah.
Meanwhile, the Alor Setar outlet operates as a comprehensive 3S service centre, offering sales, service, and spare parts assistance to customers.
Operated by Hong Thai Motor Trading Sdn Bhd, the new outlet also comes with five service bays.

The outlet aims to enhance the convenience of both prospective and existing BYD EV owners by providing a one-stop destination for vehicle experiences, as well as service and maintenance.
BYD Malaysia managing director Eagle Zhao said the Kuching outlet is BYD's first in East Malaysia.
On the Alor Setar outlet, Zhao said: "Our growing presence in the northern region aims to empower Malaysians living here to have the convenience and peace of mind with their EV journey."
BYD has 12 showrooms across Malaysia.
