PUTRAJAYA: Electric car maker BYD has launched its first mall-concept showroom in the Klang Valley, together with Sime Darby Motors and local dealership, Millennium Autobeyond.
The new 1,299 sq ft BYD showroom at IOI City Mall in Putrajaya features the brand’s first outdoor concept delivery bay for their customers, and operates as a 1S centre.
Meanwhile, Millennium Motors has a strong track record in the automotive retail industry, with experience representing eight brands and owning 10 retail outlets.
“As we launch this new BYD showroom within IOI City Mall Putrajaya, we are excited about its significance for the shoppers here, as well as those living and working around Putrajaya. We invite everyone to explore this showroom, which we believe offers a unique and immersive retail experience," said Sime Darby Motors Southeast Asia managing director Jeffrey Gan.
“We are honoured to open the first BYD mall-concept showroom for the Klang Valley. We believe that the people and shoppers in IOI City Mall will be excited to have easy access and a unique shopping experience with BYD EVs," said Millennium Motors Group managing director Bryan Wong.
To date, BYD has a total of 14 showrooms across Malaysia with six more showrooms planned to open soon. BYD said in a recent announcement that its 14th showroom was opened in Ipoh.
