SHAH ALAM: The BYD M6 all-electric 7-seater MPV (multi-purpose vehicle) is set to be launched here on Oct 15 by Sime Darby Motors, the official distributor of BYD cars in Malaysia.

The M6 is also said to have a family-friendly design with a spacious interior, unmatched comfort, cutting-edge safety features and Blade Battery technology, ensuring the highest safety standards.
The M6 was launched in Indonesia and Thailand this year.
In Thailand, the M6 is offered in Dynamic (120kW, 55.4kWh Blade Battery, 420km NEDC range) and Extended (150kW, 71.8kWh Blade Battery, 530km NEDC range) variants.
The M6 in Thailand is a 6-seater, with a front-mounted electric motor and maximum torque of 310Nm, and fitted with 17-inch wheels, MacPherson Strut front and Multi-Link rear suspension.
Prices start from 829,900 baht (RM106,522) for the Dynamic and 929,900 baht (RM119,343) for the Extended variants.
