KUALA LUMPUR: BYD distributor Sime Darby Beyond Auto now has three 3S centres in the Klang Valley.
Located in Ara Damansara, Glenmarie and Cheras, the centres aim to provide accessibility, convenience and top-notch sales and aftersales services for BYD customers. More dealerships would be set up nationwide by the end of 2023.
Customers can enjoy a variety of amenities in these new BYD 3S Centres such as comfortable lounges, complimentary WiFi service, charging bays, as well as free flow coffee
and snacks (not all outlets, check with distributor).
Sime Darby Beyond Auto, a subsidiary of Sime Darby Motors, has invested RM11 million into the Ara Damansara outlet.
The centre sits on 19,375 square-foot built-up area and is equipped with the latest facilities and retail concept that comply with BYD’s brand identity. The facility includes a total of four service bays with the capacity to service up to 270 units of vehicle per month supported by a crew of 48.
The Glenmarie centre, managed by BYD Sisma Auto, measures 21,527 sq ft. It has a capacity to display up to nine vehicles and is equipped with 10 service work bays.
The Cheras centre, operated by Millenium Autobeyond, spans 21,323 sq ft, and can display up to four cars and can service up to five cars at a time.
A launch ceremony was held at the Ara Damansara outlet recently to celebrate the milestone. Among those present were Sime Darby Bhd CEO Datuk Jeffri Salim Davidson and BYD chairman and president Wang Chuanfu.
"We look forward to offering Malaysians innovative and sustainable BYD vehicles and solutions that meet their mobility needs and contribute to a greener future,” said Jeffri.
"BYD will be bringing in more advanced products and technologies to the Malaysian market for a better green life mobility experience,” said Wang.
Apart from the 3S outlets, Sime Darby Beyond Auto operates a showroom at TREC KL in Jalan Tun Razak here.
