PETALING JAYA: BYD distributor Sime Darby Motors has unveiled the upgraded Atto 3 for 2024 as competition among electric vehicle (EV) makers ratchets up.
The Atto 3 is now available only as a single variant at RM149,800. It was offered in two variants at launch in December 2022. The Standard Range was going RM149,800 and Extended Range at RM167,800.
The 2024 Atto 3 has the same range as the previous Standard Range at 410km (NEDC).
The SUV comes with a comprehensive warranty package that includes a 6-year or 150,000km vehicle warranty, an 8-year or 160,000km battery warranty, and an 8-year or 150,000km drive unit warranty.
Customers can also opt for additional service packages.

Key changes for the 2024 model include exterior refinements such as a sleek black fin at the D-pillar and an updated BYD logo on the rear, replacing the "Build Your Dreams" line.
Inside, the interior also see some changes with a new "Black-Dark Blue" color option, complementing the existing Dark Blue-Light Grey option.
Technological upgrades include wireless charging and an expanded 15.6-inch intelligent rotating touch screen, providing enhanced entertainment features and visibility.

The addition of Cosmos Black to the colour lineup further enhances the vehicle's aesthetic options.
