Buy TnG RFID tag online, install yourself

PETALING: You can now get the DIY Touch ‘n Go (TnG) RFID Self-Fitment Kit online for RM35.

The RFID tag is available for purchase on Shopee and Lazada e-shopping sites.

It comes with straightforward instructions on how to use it.
After fixing it either to the top left windscreen or the left headlamp (note that the tag must be 5cm or more from metal parts of the car), it's time to activate it.

To do so, one has to install the Touch ‘n Go eWallet app, set up an eWallet account, and associate the TNG RFID tag number with the car information.


Touch ‘n Go Sdn Bhd said the tag would be activated within 24 hours and an SMS message would be sent to notify the user.

“Safety is our priority. We have introduced a DIY kit to bring further convenience as we understand that people will want to move safer in the comfort of their cars," said Touch ‘n Go chief executive officer Syahrunizam Samsudin.
