BMW Shop Online and BMW Engage introduced
By CARSIFU | 24 April 2020CYBERJAYA: BMW Group Malaysia has digitalised its ownership experience by introducing two new online platforms for digital vehicle booking and financing pre-approval.
Dubbed BMW Shop Online and BMW Engage respectively, the German automotive brand in Malaysia is utilising these platforms to promote its Unplug and Play campaign.
BMW Engage, a first-of-its-kind for the German car brand's online financing platform, was introduced by BMW Credit (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd to help complement its BMW Shop Online platform for a contactless experience.
This enables customers the ability to apply for pre-approval for their financing from the comfort of their home via a seamless application process.
At current, the platforms are promoting the company's Unplug and Play campaign (available from now until June 30) which provides exclusive online offers for its Sport and M Sport variants of the 530e plug-in hybrid executive sedan.
The campaign currently provides exclusive online offers for its Sport and M Sport variants of the 530e executive sedan that brings with it cash rebates from RM10,000 and RM20,000 respectively and a 0% interest rate for both variants.
Customers can now make bookings for the BMW 530e Sport and BMW 530e M Sport at RM1,000 via the BMW Shop Online. To get financing pre-approval before shopping, customers can visit BMW Engage.
New buyers of the 530e will also be in the running to drive home a new i8 Coupe electric vehicle or receive a BMW i Wallbox when booking the 530e Sport online.
Successful new owners of the 530e will receive a BMW ChargeNow card that grants access to partner charging stations that include ChargEV by Malaysian Green Technology Corporation.
With the BMW ChargeNow service, customers can enjoy 24/7 support and access to all charging locations in ChargEV’s continuously growing network that offers more than 270 charging facilities nationwide. For new owners of the 530e M Sport variant, a BMW i AC Fast Charging Cable will be provided.
"We are pleased to introduce our new digital touchpoints to continue providing a seamless ownership experience for our customers during this period," said BMW Group Malaysia managing director Harald Hoelzl.
