BMW M 1000 RR with M Competition Package ups the ante

KUALA LUMPUR: BMW Motorrad Malaysia today introduced the M Competition Package for the BMW M 1000 RR, raising the bike's price to RM289,500.

Deliveries will begin in 2024.

The M 1000 RR now comes with a new swing arm in anodised aluminium, along with a range of new equipment including the M brake and clutch levers.

The brake lever guard, M endurance chain and M rider footrest are also offered in the new variant, providing riders with a touch of racing aesthetics.


New with the bike’s standard M Carbon wheels are carbon parts from the M Competition Package such as the front wheel cover with tape, M aero wheel cover, rear wheel cover, sprocket cover, chain guard as well as side and tank covers.

The water-cooled inline four-cylinder four-stroke engine ow comes with the M Engine Protector, which is part of the M Competition Package.

The engine produces 212hp at 15,100 rpm and peak torque of 113Nm at 11,000 rpm.

It retains the 6.5-inch TFT display, powered by an OBD interface for the now-standard M GPS-Laptrigger.


Optional accessories are windshields in three variants along with the M Datalogger and M Cover Kit.

The bike will continue to arrive in the colour combination of Light White, Racing Blue Metallic and Racing Red.
