BERLIN: BMW chief executive Oliver Zipse will not extend his contract beyond the summer of next year, when it expires, Germany's manager magazin reported on Thursday, citing a source familiar with the matter.
"There will be no further contract extension," the magazine quoted the source as saying.
The company said that in September 2023, Zipse's contract had been extended until 2026 and declined to comment further.
Zipse, 59, was appointed CEO in July 2019.
