KUALA LUMPUR: BMW Malaysia unveils the new BMW 520i M Sport, further expanding its lineup of locally assembled 5 Series models with a new variant.
The recommended retail pricing (on the road, without insurance) for the 520i M Sport is RM349,800.
Buyers can opt for the RM26,900 add-on for BMW Service & Repair Inclusive which consists of the 5-year extended warranty and service package.
Meanwhile, the BMW Group Malaysia Premium Ownership experience includes Roadside Assistance and Accident Hotline, and BMW Service Online.
The 520i M Sport is available in exterior colour offerings of Black Sapphire Metallic, Mineral White Metallic, Oxide Grey Metallic and Cape York Green Metallic.
Meanwhile, the upholstery options are Veganza Perforated and Quilted Black, as well as Veganza Perforated and Quilted Espresso Brown.
With the Easy Drive Financing Plan from BMW Group Financial Services Malaysia, the New BMW 520i M Sport can be owned with a monthly instalment plan starting from RM4,013 (based on estimates of 80% loan amount on a 5-year tenure @ 20,000km mileage per annum).
Meanwhile, with the Straight-Line Financing Plan, the New BMW 520i M Sport can be owned with a monthly instalment plan starting from RM4,074 (based on estimates of 80% loan amount on a 7-year tenure).

With the addition of the M Sport package, the 520i M Sport introduces a heightened sense of sportiness and style to the already dynamic appeal of the latest BMW 5 Series.
A sleek and sporty profile defines the 520i M Sport, where the inclusion of the M Sport package further enhances its elongated silhouette for a bold, athletic look.
Adaptive LED headlights and kidney grilles with BMW Iconic Glow give the 520i M Sport a striking front profile, while 19-inch M light alloy wheels in Double-spoke style 935 M Bicolour enhance its side profile.
Furthermore, the overall look of the exterior is accentuated with the addition of the M high gloss shadowline trim.
Moving onto the interior, the 520i M Sport’s cabin has been enhanced by M anthracite headliner, M accents in dark chrome as well as aluminium rhombicle trim.
An M Sport design 3-spoke leather steering wheel greets the driver, while adding a sporty edge to the interior.
Meanwhile, the BMW Curved Display, comprising a 12.3-inch instrument display and a 14.9-inch touchscreen Control Display, provides intuitive and driver-oriented control.
Additionally, the elegant BMW Interaction Bar, together with the ambient lighting, is able to set the perfect mood to suit individual preferences, while the Harman Kardon HiFi loudspeaker system provides exceptional on-the-road entertainment.
At the heart of the 520i M Sport sits the revered four-cylinder B48 engine, which brings an element of efficiency with its 48V mild hybrid system.
Together, the combine output measures at 153 kw/208 hp and 330 Nm of torque.
This allows for an acceleration from 0 to 100kph in just 7.5 seconds, with top speed capped at 230kph.
As for the driving assistance systems, the New BMW 520i M Sport comes with the Driving Assistant Plus, a Camera- and radar-based driver assistance system, which also includes the Active Cruise Control with Stop & Go function.
In addition to detecting vehicles driving ahead, the Active Cruise Control with Stop & Go function also detects stopped vehicles, automatically initiating braking of the vehicle and braking up to standstill if necessary.
Meanwhile, other features of the Driving Assistant Plus are the Steering and Lane Control Assistant, helping the driver stay in the middle of the lane using corrective steering interventions.
Lane Departure Warning with lane return, on the other hand detects lane markings at speed above approximately 70 km/h and transmits vibrations via the steering wheel.
Also included as standard is the Parking Assistant Plus.
For connectivity, the New BMW 520i M Sport is equipped with BMW Live Cockpit Professional, Connected Drive Services, Teleservices, Intelligent emergency call, Connected Package Professional, as well as the integration of Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.
