SHAH ALAM: Bermaz Auto group has previewed two all-new electric models that is slated for launch in the first half of the year.
The Xpeng X9 luxury seven-seater multi-purpose vehicle (MPV) is scheduled for introduction in March, while the Changan Deepal S07 mid-size sports utility vehicle (SUV) will arrive in June.
X9.
The futuristic and sleek X9 will be offered in three variants of Standard Range, Long Range and Long Range with zero-gravity seats.
The zero-gravity seats are designed to provide the ultimate comfort and give the best fit to the human body curve.

Offered with a roomy interior, and a barrage of luxurious comfort and convenience features, the large MPV estimated from RM300,000 to RM350,000, is expected to provide a high-value proposition against new energy and legacy MPV models sold in Malaysia.
Among the equipment are all-electric seats, a 10.25-inch driver screen, 17.3-inch centre control screen, 21.4-inch home entertainment ecosystem screen, intelligent dual chamber air suspension and lithium iron phosphate battery pack with liquid cooling.

The driving range, depending on the variants, is WLTP-rated from 480km to 575km.
Meanwhile, the Deepal S07 electric mid-size model is offered in the Standard and Long Range variants, is also expected to upend the local electric SUV segment with a price point below RM200,000.
S07.
The S07 is designed with curvaceous lines, a coupe-like rear along with large wheels and frameless windows which give the model a pleasing and athletic appearance.
Features include Intelligent Driver Assistance System, Head-up Display with Augmented Reality Navigation, 15.6-inch centre touchscreen and a WLTP-rated range around 475km.
The Deepal name is created from the fusion of "Deep" and "Pal".
