BAC expands into Saudi Arabia
By CARSIFU | 17 July 2023RIYADH: Britain's Briggs Automotive Company (BAC) is continuing to push ahead with its ambitious global expansion roadmap, having today officially unveiled its next-phase growth plans for the Middle East.
Following the recent announcement of three new dealerships across the United States and two new dealerships in Asia, BAC’s expansion within the Middle East is initially being underpinned by a new partnership in Saudi Arabia.
It marks the first time the Liverpool, UK-based, supercar manufacturer will have a retail presence in the country.
The new dealership appointment in Saudi Arabia follows the successful dynamic debut of the Mono R in the country at this year’s Saudi Arabian Grand Prix, which saw the single-seater supercar set the tone for its wide-ranging appeal, impressing spectators, onlookers and the motorsport community with its high-performance demonstration runs which ran throughout the weekend around the Jeddah Corniche Circuit.
BAC Saudi Arabia will be run in partnership with Veloce Life, which is led by founder Faisal Binladen.
The new BAC dealership will operate out of the Riyadh and Jeddah regional hubs, whilst also presenting the Mono line-up at a host of key industry events throughout the region.
The first Mono to be delivered to Saudi Arabia – a smoked-visible-carbon Mono R – will be available to view for prospective customers in the country immediately. The first deliveries to customers will start later this year.
“There are very few places in the world that can match Saudi Arabia’s enthusiasm and passion for beautifully bespoke, high-performance and unique automotive creations like the Mono range, a point that was further underscored earlier this year when we received a remarkable response to Mono R’s dynamic on-track performance at the Grand Prix in Jeddah," said BAC co-founder and design director Ian Briggs.
"The fact that we are now growing the BAC community into the Middle East is further proof that we are on track to deliver our strategic growth objectives.”
On the Asian side, BAC has also set up shop in Taiwan, Japan, Singapore and Malaysia.
