KUALA LUMPUR: Avis Malaysia, a leading global mobility provider, is sponsoring five Mitsubishi Triton pick-up trucks for Radio Televisyen Malaysia’s (RTM) Jelajah Ramadan 2025 programme.
This annual series features a nationwide travel by road tour to spread goodwill, foster unity, and bring communities together during the holy month of Ramadan.
This year’s programme, which was launched on March 4, 2025, sees a convoy of vehicles journeying across 13 states in West and East Malaysia, reaching Malaysians from all walks of life.
Carrying the theme of “Seiring Sejalan” (or Walking Together), the initiative reflects the importance of togetherness, compassion, and the spirit of giving.
As a car rental brand committed to mobility solutions and community service, Avis Malaysia had specifically selected the Mitsubishi Triton to help facilitate travel arrangements of the Jelajah Ramadan 2025 crew.
The five Mitsubishi Triton pick-ups are well suited for the challenging driving demands including on rugged terrain in more rural areas.
“The spirit of RTM’s Jelajah Ramadan 2025 underscores our values here at Avis, being unity, service, and making a positive impact,” said Avis Malaysia CEO Syahrul Yusuf, adding that his team is glad that the versatile Mitsubishi Triton had gained the trust as a key transport solution for the programme.
“This is not surprising considering that the Mitsubishi Triton is a popular and reliable pick-up truck. Given the demanding drive expected, both in and out of the city, it provides generous offerings of power and comfort, and the assurance of safety needed for the Jelajah Ramadan team,” Syahrul added.
During the month-long initiative, the convoy will make multiple stops at selected towns and cities across the country, where RTM radio personalities will engage with local communities through live broadcasts and meet-and-greet sessions, distribute aid packages to underprivileged families and individuals, and encourage public participation through charitable activities and cultural exchanges.
The various activities will be broadcast via RTM’s 34 radio stations.
"RTM Jelajah Ramadan reinforces Avis Malaysia’s role as a trusted brand in the mobility space. Our passion for innovation, reliability, and community-driven action ensures that we always have the right vehicle, and the best solutions, for all occasions,” added Syahrul.
