The concept car features all-wheel drive, all-terrain tyres, as well as off-road driving modes (Off-road, Sand, Snow, Mud, Rock).
Inherited from the Concept #1, its rear-hinged door further enhances the spacious interior.
The protective front and rear skid plate with a hidden integrated winch and folding rear step for roof access, together with an illuminating roof light bar, enhance the vehicle's adventurous spirit.
The tech-forward cabin features a streamlined console with mounted 13-inch dual OLED screens.
Adding to the car's charm is ambient lighting and unique features like a projector and portable speaker integrated into the centre console.
This system can be used both inside and outside the vehicle, during outdoor activities like camping.
It also features a Zero gravity seat (with the industry’s first cushion airbag), thus combining comfort with safety.
The Concept #5 also has generative AI from American multinational software company Cerence, which allows occupants to engage the in-car assistant in fun and conversational chit-chat.
Drivers can control key features and functionalities using only their voice.
The Concept #5 uses an 800V high-voltage platform that supports 4C superfast charging — up to 70% charge capacity (10%-80%) in just 15 minutes, while offering ranges exceeding 700km (CLTC) or 550km (WLTP).
The rugged off-road SUV is the third SEA-based (Geely's Sustainable Experience Architecture) concept model for smart, a joint venture brand between Geely and Mercedes-Benz.
