BEIJING: JIYUE, Geely's autonomous driving focused joint venture brand with Baidu, debuted its second SEA-based Robocar and first electric sedan, the 07.
The 07 has a fastback design, and the robocar brand did not reveal much about the car, which is expected to be launched in China in the second half.
JIYUE also said from 2026 onwards, its cars will feature NVIDIA’s next-generation in-vehicle computing platform - DRIVE Thor - for autonomous driving.
NVIDIA says the system, the successor to DRIVE Orin, can deliver feature-rich cockpit capabilities, plus safe and secure highly automated and autonomous driving, all on a centralized platform.
In just over two years since the brand debuted, JIYUE has expanded L3 autonomous driving functionality for their users to nearly all highways in China and five major cities.
By the end of 2024, the brand plans to expand its L3 functionality to cover over 30 cities.
Development on Geely’s SEA architecture allows JIYUE to produce its vehicle in plants together with other Geely portfolio brand models including the Zeekr 001, Zeekr 009, and Polestar 4.
