Audi expands A6 e-tron lineup with affordable variants and quattro options


INGOLSTADT: Audi has introduced new entry-level and quattro-drive variants to its A6 e-tron lineup, with orders now open. The A6 Sportback e-tron starts at €62,800 (around RM298,000), while the A6 Avant e-tron begins at €64,450 (about RM306,000).

The quattro versions are priced higher, with the A6 Sportback e-tron quattro at €79,800 (RM379,000) and the A6 Avant e-tron quattro at €81,450 (RM387,000).

Unveiled in July, the A6 e-tron initially launched with two high-powered versions: the rear-wheel-drive A6 e-tron performance model, outputting 270 kW (280 kW with Launch Control), and the sportier, all-wheel-drive Audi S6 e-tron, delivering up to 405 kW with Launch Control.

The newly released options include a more affordable rear-wheel-drive model featuring a smaller battery (83 kWh gross, 75.8 kWh net) and a quattro model with an expanded battery capacity of 100 kWh (94.9 kWh net).

The rear-wheel-drive A6 e-tron offers a system output of 210 kW (240 kW with Launch Control) and achieves 0-100kph in six seconds.

Equipped with 800-volt technology and a DC charging capacity of 225 kW, it enables rapid charging, allowing up to 260km of range added in just 10 minutes for the Sportback and 245km for the Avant.

Charging from 10% to 80% takes around 21 minutes, supported by advanced thermal management for efficient power distribution. The range is up to 627km for the A6 Sportback e-tron and up to 598km for the Avant.

The quattro variant, with a system output of 315 kW (340 kW with Launch Control), accelerates from 0 to 100kph in 4.5 seconds.

At high-power charging (HPC) stations, the A6 e-tron quattro recharges up to 290km in just 10 minutes (Sportback) and 280km (Avant).

Full charging from 10% to 80% also completes in 21 minutes. The quattro Sportback offers a range of up to 716km, while the Avant reaches up to 685km.
