Audi concept EV set for April 19 reveal can probably drive itself
By CARSIFU | 11 April 2022INGOLSTADT: Following the skysphere concept and the grandsphere concept, Audi will debut the urbansphere concept virtually on April 19.
As the name suggests, the urbansphere concept heralds a small car designed for urban mobility. And it's expected to be self-driving as well.
Like the other two concept cars shown last year, the latest concept will be electric - and most likely autonomous as well to take the tedium out of city driving.
It was supposed to have its unveiling at the 2022 Beijing Motor Show but it was cancelled because of the pandemic.
Last year, Audi brand chief Henrik Wenders had said the urbansphere concept would represent the "most condensed" form of an Audi car and likened it to the AI:Me concept first seen at the 2019 Shanghai auto show.
