KUALA LUMPUR: Aston Martin Kuala Lumpur has a new special edition Vantage - the Dark Knight Edition.
However, the company has not revealed the price of this enhanced edition which is based on the standard Vantage that starts from RM678,000 (before duties and taxes).
The Vantage Dark Knight Edition comes featuring the use of the Exterior Black Pack.
This means the front grille, window surround finisher, quad tailpipes and perforated side gills get a matte black finish.
The mirror caps get a gloss black finish while the roof, rear diffuser insert and blades get painted in gloss black before the rear tail lights get a smoked tint.
Other accoutrements include machined carbon fibre for the front and rear wings as well as the ‘Aston Martin’ script on the rear decklid.
Also fitted are the lightweight Carbon Ceramic Brake (CCB) system (-24kg) that will still maintain the stopping power even at an extreme temperature of above 800 degrees Celcius.
The master cylinder and booster have also been updated to reduce brake pedal travel and create a more responsive feel.
The CCB is recommended to be used with the 20-inch lightweight forged wheels to up the sporty appeal.
Finally, the cabin features Caithness leather and pure Alcantara.
Metallic black accents and Dark Knight leather are matched with the satinated carbon fibre trim inlay mixed with Dark Chrome Interior Jewellery with pure black Alcantara.
