Artificial Intelligence (AI) will be selling cars by 2025, claims Swedish group
By CARSIFU | 04 August 2023STOCKHOLM: It’s only a matter of time before artificial intelligence (AI) is selling cars as effectively as a human salesperson, and could happen as soon as 2025, says Phyron CEO Johan Sundstrand.
According to him, the speed at which self-learning software is developing and being embraced by retailers means that a fully competent AI-powered sales bot is as close as 18 months away.
The Swedish video technology pioneer recently achieved a significant milestone in AI-powered software by incorporating personalised, fully automated voiceovers into its studio-quality AI videos, available in over 22 languages with options for various voices and voice characteristics.
This enhancement is expected to further accelerate the impact and efficiency of AI-powered videos in the automotive retail market.
Sundstrand pointed out the current competitiveness of the automotive retail sector and highlights that AI-powered videos have already demonstrated their effectiveness, selling cars 3 to 5 days faster.
He anticipates that AI technology, exemplified by systems like ChatGPT, could closely mimic offline salesperson interactions with customers as early as 2025, given the pace of current AI development and adoption trends.
Phyron's AI video solution is a unique software that automates video production and distribution for the global automotive industry.
Leveraging unique AI algorithms, Phyron said its offering is able to create engaging car advertisement videos suitable for OEM brand and retailer websites, classifieds, social media, and targeted emails.
These automated videos eliminate the need for on-site filming or scripted presentations by salespeople.
Phyron's AI processes a retailer's or car brand's data feed, including images and key product details, to create compelling videos that highlight product features, special effects, pricing, and branding.
The cloud-based platform can render an unlimited number of videos concurrently, posting them on various platforms within about 10 minutes.
Since its establishment in 2019, Phyron has garnered over 1,500 customers across Europe, showcasing more than 100,000 cars with Phyron videos in ads.
