PETALING JAYA: Volkswagen Passenger Cars Malaysia (VPCM) launched the all-new Tiguan Allspace seven-seater SUV available in two variants: the Tiguan Allspace Highline 1.4TSI and the Tiguan Allspace R-Line 2.0TSI, priced RM165, 000 and RM209, 575 respectively.
The locally assembled SUVs are an extended wheelbase version of the Tiguan.
As such, it offers multiple seat configurations and with the third-row seats folded, the boot space is at 700 litres while folding the second and third row seats offers the best in its segment boot space of 1,775 litres.
The Allspace exterior is accentuated with a significantly higher bonnet position with sharper lines that run across the bonnet and front bumper.
The Tiguan Allspace R-Line has an aggressive stance coupled with 19” Sebring alloy wheels.
It has an output of 220PS and 350Nm of torque and its capabilities are enhanced with a 4Motion all-wheel drive system.
The interior has connectivity features such as a Digital Cockpit and 9.2” Discover Pro infotainment system.
The Tiguan Allspace Highline meanwhile features the 1.4 Litre TSI engine with 150PS and 250Nm of torque which powers the front wheels.
It also has a Digital Cockpit instrument panel and an 8-inch Composition Media touchscreen with reverse camera.
It comes with full LED headlamps (with LED DRLs) and tail lights, 18-inch Kingston alloys (235/55 tyres), Vienna leather seats.
