PETALING JAYA: Now you can take a closer look at the all-new Honda City as it starts a nationwide tour starting Aug 29 at Sunway Pyramid mall and Tesco Cheras in Selangor.
The car on display will be the top variant Honda City RS i-MMD in Passion Red, which will make its world premiere in Malaysia when launched, which boasts an entirely new electric powertrain capable of producing 253Nm and includes the Honda LaneWatch camera system and Electric Parking Brake (EPB) among other things.
Unfortunately, you can only catch the exterior as the interior is off limits until the launch. We have however speculated what may or may not be featured in the top-specced RS.
Before the new RS hits the road, members of the media were given a preview of the RS in the flesh so feel free to check out the new designs for the grille, LED head and taillights and the overall design of the new City.
Also notice the e: HEV RS badge denoting the new powertrain.
It now comes in four variants starting with the entry level S, E, V and the new RS.
The new City also has a new 1.5 litre DOHC (dual overhead camshaft) engine to replace the previous 1.5L SOHC (single overhead camshaft).
Honda Malaysia will offer new car buyers a RM1,000 Service Voucher (one-year validity, terms and conditions apply) under the ‘All-New City Special Early Booking Programme.
