2024 a record year for Mercedes-Benz Museum

STUTTGART: Never before have so many visitors come in one year: with 882,422 guests, 2024 is the best-attended year for the Mercedes-Benz Museum since it opened in 2006.

Compared to 2023, the museum recorded an increase of 10%.

Visitors came from 162 countries, primarily from France, China and the United States, to experience Mercedes-Benz history and learn more about the multifaceted development of mobility.

A special milestone was reached on Sept 12, 2024 with the 13 millionth visitor since the museum’s opening.

“What an outstanding result! The museum was particularly popular in the summer months – especially with football fans and tourists who came to Stuttgart for the 2024 European Football Championship. We are now looking forward with great anticipation to the new special exhibition ‘Youngtimer’. From April 11, we will be showing vehicles from our more recent brand history – colourful and trendy, capturing the spirit of times gone by. The theme fulfils a frequently expressed wish to encounter vehicles from one’s own childhood and youth,” said Mercedes-Benz Museum director Bettina Haussmann.
