KUALA LUMPUR: Mercedes-Benz Malaysia today announced the availability of the Mercedes-AMG A 45 S 4Matic+ Limited Edition.
With only 10 units available, the Limited Edition is available for order only through the online showroom at Mercedes-Benz Store and is priced at RM558,888 (on-the-road without insurance, inclusive of 10% sales tax).
Here's what you get for paying over half a million for the fully imported performance compact car.
The Limited Edition gets exclusive paintwork and distinctive design elements. The standout "AMG green hell magno" colour, previously seen on the Mercedes-AMG GT and Mercedes-Benz G-Class, is now available for the compact segment.
The vehicle features AMG logos and "45 S" lettering on the doors, as well as the AMG crest on the bonnet.
It rides on matte black 19-inch AMG forged wheels with a seven-twin-spoke design and yellow accents on the rim spokes.
The brake callipers are glossy black with white AMG logos, and additional refined details include an exclusive fuel cap with the AMG logo and a light projector that displays the AMG coat of arms on the road when entering or exiting the car.
The Limited Edition is enhanced by three equipment packages:
> AMG Night Package: This package features striking black and high-gloss black design elements, including the front splitter, exterior mirror housings, and beltlines, emphasizing the vehicle's expressive character.
> AMG Night Package II: This package adds darkened struts on the radiator trim, black chrome typography on the front fenders and tailgate, black door handles, and Mercedes stars on the wheel hub caps, making the vehicle an eye-catcher.
> AMG Aerodynamics Package: Developed in the wind tunnel, this package includes special add-on parts and a fixed AMG rear wing, increasing contact pressure and improving high-speed driving characteristics.
Inside, the Limited Edition features AMG performance seats upholstered in black Artico man-made leather and Microcut microfibre with yellow decorative stitching.
The front headrests bear embroidered "45 S" emblems.
The AMG performance steering wheel, trimmed in nappa leather and Microcut microfibre with yellow stitching, and aluminum trim elements with AMG pattern and yellow AMG lettering further enhance the interior.
AMG door sills with an AMG pattern design and illuminated yellow AMG logo, along with AMG floor mats featuring "45 S" lettering and yellow stitching, complete the interior upgrades.
Powered by a 2.0-litre four-cylinder turbo engine, the Limited Edition delivers 310kW/421hp and accelerates from 0 to 100kph in 3.9 seconds, with a top speed limited to 270kph.
The all-wheel drive with AMG Torque Control ensures a dynamic driving experience, allowing variable distribution of driving force between the front and rear axles and selectively between the left and right rear wheels.
