PETALING JAYA: Motosikal & Enjin Nasional Sdn Bhd (Modenas), a subsidiary of DRB-Hicom Bhd, has launched the Modenas Kriss 125 Fi.
The Modenas Kriss 125 Fi is priced at RM5,620 (without insurance and roadtax), and offered in two colours namely, Glacier Emerald Green and Graphite Grey,
The Kriss 125 Fi is powered by a single-cylinder, air-cooled, SOHC, 4-stroke, 2-valve engine that complies with Euro 4 standards.
With a displacement of 124cc, maximum power output is 6.3kW at 8,000rpm and peak torque is 8.5Nm at 6,000 rpm.
The engine features a compression ratio of 9.3:1 and has both electric and kick-start systems.
Lubrication is managed through a pressure and splash system, with an engine oil capacity of 1.0-litre.
The Kriss 125 Fi comes with a 4.2-litre fuel tank and uses a fuel injection system for efficient performance.
In a statement, Modenas said that with the Kriss 125 Fi, it is entering a new motorcycle segment for the first time in its 30-year history, and underscores its efforts to innovate and expand its product lineup to cater to a broader market.
