Jaecoo 3S outlet opens in Kota Kinabalu
By CARSIFU | 11 September 2024KUALA LUMPUR: Chery's offroad SUV sub-brand Jaecoo has set up its first dealership in Kota Kinabalu.
It is also Jaecoo's first foray into the Borneo side of Malaysia.
The 3S outlet is operated by Universal Jaecoo Sdn Bhd, which is headed by its managing director, Datuk Chok Yun Kiong.
The building features a unique geometric exterior intended to turn heads along the busy road.
The Sabah dealership expects to receive 200 visitors a month, and is equipped to offer customers an end-to-end experience from the point of purchase to after-sales care.
Customers can also expect to enjoy creature comforts including a cosy customer lounge complete with a dedicated coffee and tea bar, high-speed Internet connectivity, and prayer rooms.
Chery Malaysia executive vice president Leo Chen said the company considers East Malaysia, comprising Sabah and Sarawak, a key market.
He said Jaecoo is ready to meet growing demand for SUVs.
The dealership is located at Jalan Limau Manis Iramanis, off Jalan Lintas, 88400 Kota Kinabalu, Sabah.
