KUALA LUMPUR: BMW Group Malaysia continues to expand the electric vehicle (EV) charging network in the country.
In 2024, the premium automaker introduced four new EV charging facilities in Putrajaya, developed in partnership with Gentari and DC Handal, located at IOI Putrajaya, Pulse Grande Hotel, Marina Putrajaya and Kompleks Putrajaya.
BMW Group Malaysia also introduced two new EV charging facilities in Kuala Lumpur, in collaboration with ChargeEV and ChargeSini, located at KLGCC Gallery and Intercontinental Hotel.
BMW Group Malaysia is working closely with various charge point operators (CPOs) to introduce additional stations across the country.
“The opening of additional charging facilities in key public areas in Putrajaya and Kuala Lumpur not only enhances convenience for EV owners in these high-traffic areas, but also supports our vision of an electrified future here.” said BMW Group Malaysia managing director Benjamin Nagel.
