39 technicians all set to boost MG aftersales service
By CARSIFU | 15 October 2024KUALA LUMPUR: SAIC Motor Malaysia today announced that 39 MG certified technicians have graduated and they would strengthen MG aftersales service.
Two women were among the 39 graduates.
The training program covered both internal combustion engine (ICE) and electric vehicle (EV) technologies was conducted in partnership with a local trainer and academy.
The syllabus and modules were sourced from overseas markets where SAIC operates, ensuring its technicians are adept in the latest advancements and standards.
In the past month, SAIC Motor International had invited SAIC Motor Malaysia to participate in global training initiatives resulting in the certification of its technicians in advanced models, including the MG4 and ZS EV in Shanghai and the MG5 and MG HS in Thailand.
The training included practical hands-on skills essential for servicing and repairing current MG vehicles globally.
SAIC Motor Malaysia said it would continue to upskill its personnel to stay abreast with automotive technologies.
“Training and service are vital aspects of customer experience, especially as we embrace the rise of electromobility in Malaysia,” said SAIC Motor Malaysia managing director Emory QiFeng.
“We are dedicated to building a skilled workforce that not only meets but exceeds customer expectations."
